STEP 1

Use the sand and separate into different bowls for each color that you
plan on making.

STEP 2

Add small amounts of powdered paint to the sand until desired color is achieved.

STEP 3

Then carefully pour, in layers, the various colors of sand into your plastic container.

STEP 4

Lastly, run the pencil along the inside edge of the plastic bottle. This will create "dips" in the design of the sand.
